You might have seen Wubbzy before starring on the ever popular with kids show - Wow! Wow! Wubbzy. While I personally do not understand the fuss about this cute little guy, although I do have a soft spot for Daisy & her dancing feet, both of my children LOVE this show. They sit completely engrossed from the moment the bouncy theme song starts to play. Wubbzy's Christmas Adventure was no different. They absolutely loved the story - everything from decorating the tree to the repairing of a snow sculpture. It had them engrossed and since it didn't contain any trains or golf clubs that is quite impressive for my little guys. The message it delivers is wonderful - all about sharing and caring for people. Friendship is an important part of any one's life and this DVD does an excellent job of showing the ingredients to a good friendship. My 4 year old's favorite part was the mystery of the Snow Shoo-Shoo. He fancies himself a bit of a spy, so solving mysteries is one of his favorite things to do. As for my little guy (15 months) - it was all about the catchy songs. The moment that music came on he was in full rock star mode. The feet are wiggling completely separate from the beat, his hands making movements that appear to fake snapping, and his head is thrown about like a headbanger with balance issues. They love it and I love the way it gives me time to unload a dishwasher, fold some laundry, or better yet have a whole 30 minutes without loud, wild munchkins running about. It's perfect for the holiday season and you can rest easy knowing that the content is actually full of good values while still extremely entertaining. I hate painting. I envy the people that can paint these adorable wall murals without a mistake. I started this crazy train mural in my son's room when we moved in (3 years ago) and I am now up to about a fifth of the blue sky. I think it might be time to admit defeat. Our biggest bath time battle revolves around washing hair. My boys are both terrified of not just the shampoo burning their eyes but the very idea of water touching them. Lush's Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo won our vote for the best organic shampoo. We loved the way our tired locks were revived when we washed our hair with impressive concoction.
